It’s been awhile since I’ve reviewed this Panera, and today was an unusually bad turned good visit. I tried to order via the app, but my rewards didn’t show up. So instead, I went to the register to order.
At the register, Megan was very sweet & efficient. She took my order, and then got the manager to help her use my reward. Bryan said the app was down across the country, and that they were doing their best to help patrons. He applied my reward. I was thrilled! And it helped that I had the email, showing my reward.
My food was delicious, as usual. The chicken & rice soup was good & hot, the chicken salad sandwich was tasty & fresh, and the chai latte was perfect. I enjoyed eating and socializing with my girlfriend in a side booth. It’s a comfortable, happy place to met and talk!

Been coming to this location for years. It used to be well managed in every aspect. This time for a quick lunch with friends at 1:45, the place was dirty, None of the tables were wiped, no one at the register since some clients were ordering at the kiosk and above all, the soup was cold ! The bread was hard ,this is simply not the place I knew before. I will step back to take pics but no more to eat.

My stars do not matter. I have one point to make. Why do we insist on eating the same, generic, "too easy to mess up", food from the same franchised, chain restaurants? I do not get it. We could be cooking for each other, big and often dinners or lunches in our own communities. We could be challenging every privately, family owned and operated eateries to be the best and worth our dollars! We'd all do better to see less chain restaurants. We do not need these places, we don't even need one. It's not even a luxury expense worth our time. We would do so much better to be together at our own places to cook and eat, from our homes to our own restaurants. Quit fast food, quit supporting the same restaurant on every corner. Quit supporting min wage employment. Quit bad food and the most generic.

Panera Bread is the one restaurant that I am happy to sit by myself
The employees are always helpful, and even comforted me when I had seen friends that spoke about my late husband, and I was crying.
I love their unlimited coffee for $8.99 a month, and sometimes it’s only coffee, coffee and a toasted blueberry bagel, or a lunch with a 99 cent bakery item. I love their broccoli cheese soup, fresh salads, sandwiches, and either a blueberry scone, warm with butter, or the bear claw. Love the almond filling.
It’s not cheap but if you have the app, they send you offers, and discounts.

Very disappointed, second time I’ve ordered the French onion soup in a bread bowl and the second time I’ve not received my bread bowl. They check off the items that are supposed to be in the bag, but they don’t actually ensure that those items are in the bag. Very poor service or lack of caring about mobile orders? Yes, Uber will refund me for the missing item, but it’s still missing. I guess Panera is off my list of restaurants to order delivery from.
