Let me start by saying our server was great, attentive and friendly.
This was a first visit for my me and my wife and it wasn't a good impression. After ordering and waiting for about 40 minutes our server told us that the kitchen had "forgot" our order somehow. She did offer a $5 gift certificate for the inconvenience.
When the food finally arrived the disappointments continued. My wife had a half baby back rib dinner plate and I had pork rib plate. Both of our ribs came out cold. The pork rib meat was tough and chewy and all of the flavor was in the sauce which wasn't even that good. My wife wasn't impressed with her baby back ribs, either. The server also let us know when the food arrived that one side we each ordered wasn't available. Would have been nice for the kitchen to let her know that before the food hit the table. It's unfortunate that the best part of a rib dinner were the fries. And after reading other reviews I realized we never even got the Texas Toast that is supposed to be served with every dinner platter.
I'm not sure how this place gets such great reviews if the average visit is anything like ours. I like to support local businesses which is why we came here and not the chain BBQ place just up the road but next time we'll go to the chain.

I moved Port Richey last year and have been trying so hard to find a good barbecue spot. Finally found my forever BBQ home here !!! This place is the bomb!!! And thank god they don't cook their food in a oven.. The the collard greens were delicious and were not over seasoned. I also got the green beans and they were very good
The meat was tender and juicy and cooked perfectly!!! Happy happy!! I got ribs, chicken and the brisket. Ten 🌟 Stars!!

After having been recommended by coworkers for not being a chain, we decided to check it out. First impressions were good. My only two negatives were that they didn't have Alabama white sauce, nor Mac and cheese and thar the pork ribs were tough to bite into, but chicken, brisket, pulled pork, wings, were all pretty good. Could've had 5 stars if they offered those first two items I mentioned.

This is not authentic barbecue. My chicken was dry, cold and awful. The corn on cob was cold and not fully cooked. My wife’s ribs were tasteless and dry. How this place has almost five stars is hard to believe. I believe most of these reviews are fake. I’d give them no stars for food.

I just ordered 3 full racks of ribs at $64 and this is what I got, dried small racks. I cannot believe the price yall are charging for this kind of quality. The Mcrib at McDonald's looks better. Then they aren't even smoked, you charge by the pound for spare ribs which is absurd as well. I definitely will not be bringing my business here again. Unfortunate
