La Alameda Mexican Restaurant offers a delightful dining experience with authentic Mexican cuisine. The food is fresh, flavorful, and well-prepared, with standout dishes like the enchiladas and carne asada. The salsa choices are delicious and clearly made with quality ingredients. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, perfect for a casual meal with friends or family. The only reason I didn't give it five stars is that service was a little off putting. As an avid Mexican food lover and a white passing Spanish person the service was trying to talk me out of certain dishes as if I’ve never had them or wouldn’t like them.. either way. I enjoyed it. Needless to say, the friendly staff and delicious food more than make up for it. Highly recommend giving this place a try!

All I wanted was a good tostada… and boy did they deliver! I ordered the refried beans which came with lettuce, sour cream and delicious mexican cheese but the star of the show was the perfectly fried tortilla. Will definitely order again and again! MAGICALLY DELICIOUS 🤩

All of the food is delicious but we especially love going to get Chilaquiles for breakfast.

This restaurant is really a hole in the wall. The food is Mexican enough but compared to others around the area it was unimpressive to me and my lady.
The bowls that were brought out to us were chipped. When we asked for extra plates for the kids we were told that they were a DOLLAR a piece. We declined but then they brought them out and let us know that next time it would be a dollar. HA.
We asked for lemons for our water and were brought out limes. Then on the recipe it said that the limes were a extra dollar when I asked the waiter about this he said it was considered a side and that it was only a dollar. I said I would of liked to be informed.
I've never heard of a place charging for extra plates or for stuff to go in you water.
The waiter also never refilled our waters.
Unfortunately I will not be going back
