I ordered a Cheeseteak Hoagie. Not a regular cheesesteak. Meaning it should come with lettuce, tomatoes, pickles, etc. I had told the young lady to make sure. When I received it, opened it when I got home....A disappointment! Don't waste your time! Mamma Mia's is better and they always get my food correct all the time! Wanted to give this place a try. Yeah, never again!

Great local place to get a slice and relax. The pizza was fantastic. My waitress was super kind and full of energy. I like this place. It makes me feel like I was back at my old favorite pizza place when I was a kid. Also the pricing was super affordable. Especially for someone who is no stranger to poverty. I will eat here again.

Update:
We returned for lunch because I like giving everyone a second chance at redemption. We ordered the fried mushrooms again with a large meat lovers pizza. Place was busy when we entered but everything was super! Waitress was again on spot! We did have a different waitress this time but both times the service staff was excellent! Our food came out fast hot and super yummy! We were in and out super fast with awesome service and yummy delicious food! Thank you guys for working together to make your restaurant top notch! I just knew the famous in your title meant something!! Loved it and again thank you to all staff for the excellent lunch!!
Waited 45 minutes for 1 large pizza that never came. We decided to leave at this point. Staff did not charge us for the drinks we had nor for the deep fried mushrooms. Waitress was on point and we would like to thank her for her time. The rest was just ridiculous to say the least!
I will give them another try a different time but for now omgoodness!!

It was our first time dining at Sal’s, and we enjoyed every moment of it! Samantha our server, and the owner’s daughter, was an absolute gem. She curated a wonderful dining experience for us and we cannot wait to go back! Not only is the pizza delicious and affordable, but they have many different options if you are in the mood for something else! We definitely will be back. It is the perfect place for a little date night spot. Thanks again, Samantha!

Well we got take out. I ordered lasagna. Was not good at all. Noodles, meat, sauce and cheese on top. No cheese in the layers. The sauce was ok. The meat had no flavor. I make my lasagna with ricotta cheese and mozzarella. None!!! My husband got a cheese, pepperoni and sausage calzone. He liked it. (That's why I gave 2 stars) I've had the pizza a bunch of times and it's good, but if you are Italian, don't get the dinners.
UPDATE; I just ate some of my husband's leftover calzone. (Because I was hungry because the lasagna was gross) the calzone was Filled with ricotta and mozzarella cheese tons of pepperoni and sausage. But VERY garlicy. Why was the lasagna noodles, unseasoned beef and sauce. I'm mad I spent $14.95 on this.
