The service was excellent but we did not enjoy the food as much sadly. We got quite a few things on the menu seeing since we are big seafood lovers and it left much to be desired. The portions are very nice but all of our food was overcooked except my 18 month olds cheese burger which was cooked perfectly! But we came for the fish! For starters we got the calamari and grouper fingers. Both were mediocre at best and tasted like I can get them out of a frozen bag somewhere. We also got the grilled octopus (special that night) which had fantastic flavor but sadly was not as tender as it should be it was a little tough and hard to chew but again great flavor. For the main course we split a feast platter. We got the Admirals feast and a cup of the Manhattan clam chowder. The soup was fine good flavor but the big seafood feast was a bust!! The shrimp were perfectly cooked but we didn't care for the heavy breading. Everything else on the plate was well overcooked. The lobster, the crab legs, the scallops tasted not just overcooked but also old. The presentation was very nice tho. Maybe they had an off night but For $180 I was not impressed at all.

The restaurant service was great. The food wasn't. I believe it may have been frozen and then just quickly deep fried to serve. I got the fish and chips basket and was very disappointed. It was not at all what "traditional" fish & chips should be! The fish was very dry and lacking in any flavor, and the fish coating was not light and fluffy; it appeared to be breadcrumbs?? I would not recommend this basket, especially for the price! The Chicken Orzo soup was very good, as were the fries (steak) and coleslaw. The cocktail sauce tasted a bit off.
I didn't stay at the hotel, so I can't judge the accommodations.

We had such a great experience at Inn on the Gulf! Our server, TJ, was absolutely amazing—attentive, personable, and made us feel right at home. You could tell he genuinely cared that we enjoyed ourselves, and his service made the whole night even better.
The food was just as incredible. The seafood Alfredo was rich, creamy, and loaded with fresh flavor, and the steak was cooked perfectly—juicy, tender, and seasoned to perfection. It’s not easy to find a spot that nails both seafood and steak, but they sure did here.
Between TJ’s top-notch service and the delicious food, this was easily one of the best dining experiences we’ve had in a long time. We’ll definitely be back!

We decided to have an early dinner here yesterday, and both the food and service were excellent. Our server, TJ, was not only attentive but also incredibly friendly. He gave us great suggestions for both food and drinks — I chose the Seafood Alfredo, and my friend ordered the Sirloin. Both dishes were fresh, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. The service was outstanding from start to finish, and I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone local or visiting the area. If you go, definitely request TJ — he truly made our experience memorable!

We finally got in to try it on a Thursday. We considered it on a weekend but it looked very busy. The inside was surprisingly quaint considering the exterior appeal but then again it’s a small fishing village.
Our server was great and we received excellent service. We started with a couple of adult beverages…Appletini and an Old Fashioned made with Eagles Rare. Surprisingly enough their bourbon selection was excellent as well as the rest of the beverage selections. We started with the shrimp cocktail appetizer which was fresh and the shrimp were colosal. We ordered the stuffed shrimp highly recommend as well as the shrimp scampi which was amazing. The bread and salads were equally delicious.
We decided on taking desert home and tried the Banana Ramalicious…wow!
Afterwards a brief little walk to checkout the departing fishing boats was pretty cool. If you’re looking for a cool, five star feel restaurant with a quaint little fishing village to walk around afterwards here you go.
