We loved this restaurant so much we ate there 3 times on a 5 night stay nearby. Food was delicious & you can't beat the view. We sat on outside dining for all our meals with a awesome with plenty of food. We had a
breeze & beautiful view. We had the best waiter twice, TJ who gave us a wealth of information & suggestions on other local things to try. We will be back to stay again, & this will be our 1st stop!

As former residents in this area, when we return to Florida, we like to visit our favorite seafood restaurants. Today, our visit to the Inn on the Gulf was quite disappointing.
The restaurant atmsophere is dimly lit and noisy with choppy and grating music.
The saving feature of our meal was the Crab Cake appetizer. My husband enjoyed the clam chowder as it was spicy. I found the chicken orzo soup very thick and gelatious. We had, I believe, the seafood feast, fried shrimp, scallops and grouper. The shrimp was the best of the three. I found most all of the fish too salty. After making it through one of the three rectangles of grouper, I found I just could not eat anymore. In fact, I had to spit out the last two bites I attempted.

The meal was excellent. The stuffed mushrooms were perfect. The onion rings were tender and crisp. Our server was every thing an excellent server should be. I highly recommend this establishment for the quality food, relaxing, unhurried atmosphere.

My husband and I went to Inn on the Gulf for our 38th anniversary. We hadn't been there in a long time, but decided it was nice and we would go there to celebrate! We both used to love their Grouper Rueben's, so that is what we ordered. We are getting older, so asked the waitress if we could substitute salad for the fries it comes with. She said "No, we don't do that here!". So we got it as is. I got soda and my husband got iced tea to drink, she came to the table 2x to give him more tea, I never got my soda topped off. The sandwiches were terrible! The grouper tasted like it was fishy and looked like a frozen patties. The coleslaw had no flavor at all. It certainly was not the grouper reuben it used to be. We were very disappointed. Neither one of us finished our sandwiches, we took over half of each home, and I bought coleslaw to put on them and melted more cheese on them and changed out the buns to make them a little more edible . I will NEVER go there again. $70.00 for an anniversary dinner we will never forget, but not in a good way!

Party of 5 and a five year old had dinner on a Tuesday night. Early bird dinner at 5pm. Missed that The server was wonderful The food was excellent. Of course it overlooks the ocean so the view is incredible if you sit by the window. Our group mainly had seafood and it was perfectly cooked.
