We were driving north and saw this BBQ place. The brisket was excellent. Great flavor, not too much smoke. There are several house made BBQ sauces to choose from, but I favored the house BBQ sauce. Corn bread is sticky, but I like it that way. Very friendly service. The venue area was huge. We will be back!

Years ago when this place opened we tried it an were not too crazy about it. We decided to try it again since they've grown and have been around for a bit. We were not satisfied yet again. The portions are small for the price compared to other local restaurants. We were charged $5 more for extra meat on the second sandwich and it was barely noticeable. We also paid extra for corn on the cob and received a small half size piece full of water and no seasoning; our coleslaw was also very bland. The place seemed clean but their sauce containers were another story. Every lid in there needed a deep clean between the cracks. We were there at noon, the beginning of lunchtime, noone else in there. Those bottles should have been clean. I could never put something dirty on a customers table. Unfortunately, we won't be returning to Circle S BBQ.

WHY IS SO HARD TO FIND GOOD QUALITY FOOD IN THIS STATE? I ordered over the phone. She said 19.83$ for pork dinner. Ouch. Im saying to myself, i hope its worth it. One car in the parking lot at 6pm. I walked in to find a sign outside stating daily special 12.99 pork dinner. I go to checkout and told her, i want that deal. She said thats the lunch special. I said no it is the dinner entree. She walked outside to verify then came back in. I paid 13$ then left. Pork was very dry with no sauce on it. Corn bread was sticky and cold. The coleslaw was very bland and dry. The baked beans were awful. Plain and tasteless.
I love sonnys and theres a place on rt 41 in lutz called Rons bbq. They are the best Ever.
NEVER again.

Avoid this place at all costs. They give you enough barbecue for one bite to use on an entire meal, The beans are straight from a can, and the ice cream bars are close to $5 a piece. Corn bread tastes like raw pancake batter. Next time I will buy the ingredients myself, hire a professional chef to cook it and still pay less.

This was honestly really gross....
It wasn't inedible but everything was dry and off. The cornbread takes like pancake batter, the pulled pork was so dry and you get less than an ounce of BBQ sauce to try and fix the problem. The baked beans were straight out of a can. The loaded baked potato was the only thing that could not be eaten just straight mayo and salad bacon. I'm disappointed more than mad. The Mac was watery and the pasta was soft... I liked the corn nuggets?? But it's the price too, if this was half the price it would make sense but ugh avoid here. It's a shame the customer service was amazing at the front. Will not return and will not recommend.
