Rooster Thai Sushi is a hidden gem in New Port Richey! I originally found them just by Googling “sushi near me” and was drawn in by the amazing reviews—and they did not disappoint.
The sushi was fresh and delicious with a huge selection, including vegetarian options. I also ordered the ramen noodle soup (the main reason I came) and it was everything I hoped for—absolutely perfect! My husband had the poke bowl and devoured it (just a little warning if you don’t like jalapeños 😅).
We also enjoyed hot sake, which was excellent, and they have a great variety of both hot and cold options to choose from.
A big thank you to our waitress, Grace, who was incredibly sweet, attentive, and had the best personality—she really made our date night extra special.
We will absolutely be back!

My family and I have been here twice and absolutely love the food. I've had the duck Ramen and curry. Both were amazing. The atmosphere is comfortable and seems to be almost steam punk inspired. It is a small restaurant, so there can be a wait, but it's worth it. So far only the service has been inconsistent. Our first time the waitress was great. Attentive and friendly. Our second time a different waitress didn't seem to care for our patronage. She took our order, brought our food, and that's the last we saw of her. Not sure what it was about us but she definitely spent way more time at her other tables than ours. The other staff were great in checking in on us though. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.

This Thai sushi spot is an absolute treasure. The place is so cute and welcoming, with a cozy atmosphere that makes you feel right at home. Our waitress was beyond amazing, so friendly, attentive, and kind!
We started with the garlic edamame, and WOW!!!! absolutely out of this world. My son ordered the ramen and declared it the best ramen he’s ever had (and he’s tried a lot!). I had the panang curry, and I genuinely don’t say this lightly it was the best curry I’ve ever tasted. Rich, flavorful, and made with love from the owner’s mom’s recipe. You can taste the care in every bite.
Highly recommend this spot for anyone who loves amazing food and warm, genuine service. We’ll definitely be back!

Wow what a Honey Hole of a restaurant! My coworker and I chose to come here for dinner while in town doing work for the power company and our server Janine walked us through EVERYTHING perfectly - she explained the menu, gave pointers on the appetizers, explained that she worked here because she was a fan of the restaurant and shared how well the owners treated the staff - what a great surprise! We chose the place based on the Google Reviews and she even explained that the reason they weren’t 5.0 was because of a customer that nobody can please had dragged down their rankings. We are doing our part on trying to help bring that back up! We ordered the crab Rangoon and a wonton soup and each of us ordered our own plates of sushi and sashimi and everything was so clean and cold (fish) and perfect. Highly recommended!

This place was AMAZING!!!! The BEST crab Rangoon EVER! I also ordered the Panang Curry Chicken and it was delicious!! The BEST I’ve ever had and I’m not being dramatic about it. Out server is Janine and she was AWESOME!!!
