First time back to this location closed last year. The Chicken was delicious! The Cajun fries and the Mac and Cheese were on point too! Honestly it was a great experience! I pulled up to the drive through speaker and told them I was picking up an online order. I pulled up to the window and within minutes I had my order! I look forward to many more visits to this location now that it’s finally back open!

I had a great experience at the Popeyes in Wesley Chapel thanks to Keri. She was working the drive-thru window and took my order with a friendly attitude and a genuine smile. She was patient, professional, and made sure my order was accurate. It’s refreshing to receive such excellent customer service from someone who clearly cares about the customers. Keri made my visit quick, pleasant, and enjoyable. Popeyes is fortunate to have an employee like her. Thank you, Keri, for the outstanding service—I look forward to coming back!

My husband and I used drive thru and Keri was amazing she was handling the chaos with a smile. While at the window she not only helped us but was taking orders and even took the time to help the other young man behind her pack our stuff. We spoke to her manager as my husband and I were impressed that she was able to have a positive attitude while doing so much the manager we spoke to requested that we do a review so we are and we hope it does something positive for her as she is a rare gem in society today.

This was my first time trying this Popeyes, and unfortunately, my experience on July 5th around 4:00 p.m. was disappointing. The biggest issue wasn't the food—it was the customer service.
The employee in the gray shirt, who appeared to be a supervisor or shift leader, was counting money at the register while customers waited to be acknowledged. Another team member offered to cover the register so the waiting customers could be helped, but instead of accepting the help, she spoke to him disrespectfully. She also came across as rude to me when I arrived. There was no greeting, no "hello," no acknowledgment—nothing.
During the 10 minutes I waited for my pre-order, I witnessed her being rude to a customer asking for help to the point he made a comment about her beung unprofessional to another teammember. If she was a supervisor or shift leader, that's not the kind of example that should be set. Oh, did I mention how mean the lady cook looked. 🙅♀️
The overall atmosphere felt tense and unwelcoming. The team didn't appear motivated, and there was no sense of teamwork or positive leadership.
Popeyes needs to take a serious look at who they're putting in leadership positions. Supervisors represent the company, and the culture they create affects both employees and customers. Whether the issue is poor hiring, inadequate training, or a lack of accountability, it's management's responsibility to fix it. This location left a very poor first impression, and based on this experience, I won't be returning.
