Would give 10 stars if I could. One of the best meals I’ve had in a long time. We had the Chicken Mykonos & Gyro Platter. Both were phenomenal & their potatoes are to die for! 😋 Marina our server was magnificent as well, super kind & friendly. Couldn’t recommend more

Wish we lived closer to this authentic, Greek gem of a restaurant. It would be on the weekly rotation, for sure. My uncle had Greek diners in NY. I love this food. The food at Mykonos is excellent American Greek. The menu is extensive. The portions are massive. The service is super fast. Love, love, love this place!

A Taste of Greece in the Heart of Tarpon Springs!
Mykonos never disappoints, but our recent visit was truly exceptional. We ordered the yellowtail fish of the day and the gyro platter and both were absolutely phenomenal. The yellowtail was grilled to perfection: fresh, flaky, and bursting with flavor. Our amazing server, who we now lovingly refer to as Mama, not only recommended the perfect wine to pair with it (seriously, spot on), but also went the extra mile to help me filet the fish for me as I’ve never done it. It was like watching a master at work.
The gyro platter was equally memorable; tender, seasoned meat with all the traditional fixings, with pillowy pita and served with generous portions of tzatziki, and we chose the French fries that I enjoyed dipping in the tangy tzatziki. Every bite took us straight to a seaside taverna in Greece.
Warm, welcoming, and absolutely delicious—Mykonos is a gem!!!

Maeipeion Mykonos delivers a vibrant and authentic Greek dining experience that’s hard to find in Florida. From the moment you walk in, the ambiance transports you straight to the islands—warm lighting, tasteful Mediterranean décor, and Greek music in the background set the perfect mood.
The food was fresh and clearly made with care. The lamb gyro was packed with flavor—tender, juicy, and well-seasoned, served on soft pita with crisp veggies and a tangy tzatziki that tied everything together. The moussaka was rich and comforting, and the spanakopita had just the right crunch with perfectly balanced spinach and cheese.
Service was friendly and knowledgeable, though a bit slow at times, which is really the only reason for the 4-star rating instead of 5. That said, it gave us more time to enjoy the atmosphere and our drinks—don’t skip the house wine or ouzo if you want the full Greek experience.
If you’re looking for a true taste of Greece without hopping on a plane, Maeipeion Mykonos is absolutely worth the trip. I’ll definitely be back to try more from the menu!

Came here for dinner today experience my first Sponge Docks meal 😊 My wife and mother-in-law found this place last year and wanted to return. To start, the servers are nice, much appreciated in a tourist-filled area. We started with the Saganaki. "Ooopaaaa!!" I love it when they say that. And the cheese itself was really good! Next I got the Combination dinner, with a cup of the chicken lemon orzo soup. That was so good, I could eat three bowls of it! And then came the dinner. It was quite the spread, and everything was delicous, no complaints! Also, that's the biggest stuffed grape leaf I've ever seen wow! And then for dessert we got Baklava in addition to a honey and cinnamon sliced apple that was on the house. Again, no disappointments, even the humble apple! I'd love to come back and perhaps get the same entree, but a different side 👍🏻
