Family Favorite!!! We “discovered” this Mexican Restaurant not too long ago and we all love it!!
It’s located in a beautiful plaza and the restaurant itself is very nice!
Food is delicious!!
Staff is very friendly and welcoming.
Definitely a must visit if you enjoy nice atmosphere and delicious Mexican cuisine!

My friends and I decided to spend Cinco de Mayo at Cantina Viajero in Trinity, FL mind you 6 drove from SpringHill, 1 from Wesley Chapel and I from Tampa, FL. The area was beautiful. They sat us immediately so there was no wait time at all. We sat outside so we can enjoy the music, it’s was a nice breeze. All 8 of us had a great time the food was delicious. Our waitress and Waiter were polite and attentive. The only downfall was they were rushing us to leave our table. 6 left but 2 of us stayed because we were still drinking and wanted to order dessert with the outside entertainment of the Mariachi and the Latin Band. They came out at least 3 times to us while we were still drinking and eating our dessert that our two seat table was needed for customers that needed to order food. When I got up to use the restroom there was no one waiting to be seated which bothered me. We are paying customers, which we spent a lot of money there, only to be rushed to leave our table. I drove over an hour to this place and we decided we won’t come back. Of all the places we have gone we were never rushed to leave our table. Disappointing!!!!!!

Great assortment of delicious appetizers & meals. Everything tastes fresh & flavorful. The charro beans are especially good. Even when it is busy the service is good
Update: Dylan is friendly & we enjoyed the great service. The ceviche was packed with fresh ingredients. The very generous portions of flan were melt-in-your mouth yummy.

We come to this restaurant often, and it’s always a great experience, but yesterday on Mother’s Day, they truly went above and beyond, which is prompting me to write this. My husband, our three boys, my in-laws, and I all came for Mother’s Day brunch, and it ended up being fantastic.
Our server, Bri, really stood out. She had personally made little gift bags for all the moms, each with a face mask, lotion, Chapstick, and a handwritten note. It was such a thoughtful touch and made the day feel extra special, especially since she took her own time out of her life to do this.
The food, as always, was good, but I wanted to give a shout out to her, and we will be requesting her for our future visits!

We made a second attempt, and while we were successful in being seated, the experience fell short. The food was slow to arrive and did not taste fresh. The chicken had a canned flavor, and the pork was dry. I would not return, which is unfortunate given the restaurant's location near my home. Furthermore, the hostess who worked on both Monday and today provided poor customer service, neglecting to smile or speak to us.
