Tacos were absolutely disgusting. When we called the manager or someone claiming to be the manager, he was incredibly rude, insulted my husband, and refused to refund any of our money for an absolutely inedible meal. Just take a look at the pictures…would you eat that? We spent over $40 for 6 tacos and queso. They put poblano ranch all over my tacos despite my allergy and requesting none. They finally admitted they had done so on accident. Even after admitting they had messed them up, they were still rude and insisted they couldn’t offer a refund bc someone named Evelyn wasn’t there. They claimed she’ll call tomorrow with a refund.
Update: No one called. They refunded half the order.

We actually ordered from Capital Tacos a few times after moving nearby a few months ago (first time in a few years). Despite the negatives reviews and comments about a change in ownership/management, I felt the food was very tasty for the price, and the queso was really good (kind of a classic queso not white queso).
We ordered in February on Uber Eats (I picked up), and the food was terrible. The two different steak tacos I had were covered in large chunks of fat, the rice was nasty, and the queso now appears to be a white queso and had big chunks of cheese floating in it. Like it separated or was over/undercooked. I was concerned it went bad, so I didn’t eat it and emailed them (). After a few weeks, I thought about it again when thinking about order g taco, and followed up since they never responded. No response.
They don’t appear to be reading emails or reviews and don’t seem to care, which is unfortunate. We’ll be sticking to other places in the area in the future!

I've heard good things so we were excited to try. Unsure if it's this location, but everything, besides the queso which was just okay, was horrible. They were out of lime, pico, and cilantro and didn't bother to tell us until after our food was made. The manager seemed more interested in talking with blonde cashier about her high school class schedule than facilitating. Bummer 👎

Capital tacos has been one of my favorites for many years. Unfortunately this experience was not up to standard. My friend did a pick up order on 12/21. First, we requested sauces on the side for the tacos and that was not done. The tacos themselves were hard and dry and some of the meat was extremely overcooked and not edible. Second, my friend ordered corn and she did not receive the corn with the order nor a receipt. As we ate the queso we noticed a staple in it. Very disappointed with capital tacos. My friend emailed the restaurant and still no response as of 12/27.

Wow I mean wow. The food was top 10. I definitely recommend this place not only was the food good but the workers incredible. They were so nice and patient as a first timer and the atmosphere was amazing small but nice and cozy. I don’t usually write reviews but this place was too good for me not to support them. At first I was a bit iffy about buying from here given the reviews but I risked it and landed on clouds. Thank you so much capital tacos. Will be coming back
