The staff and food are on point! The chips and salsa really are some of the best around as well 😋

We have been coming here for years and it is our go-to Mexican restaurant. Tried many others, but their variety, flavor and quantity of food can’t be beat. The service is fast and friendly, the restaurant is large and can host a lot of people and parties. Originally came from California, where we had a lot of Mexican restaurants to choose from. Carmelita’s is right on par or exceeds expectations compared to them. Funny thing about the reviews on food places; most of the people giving negative reviews are people who expect every restaurant cater to their food allergies and dislikes. Stay at home and cook your own food and don’t go out to eat if you’re that picky.

There’s so much chips and salsa as soon as you sit down. I ordered a chicken and shrimp fajita. The rice was very dry and didn’t taste fresh. The onions were not cook and the peppers tasted bitter and spoiled. I didn’t enjoy my first visit meal there. My companion, enjoyed his meal and Carmelita’s is one of his favorite places to eat. However, the staff was awesome. If I’m ever in the area again I would give them another try and try something else.

We had a great time at Carmelitas! The portions and flavor of the food was exceptional. Not sure what the bad reviews are for but we were seated quickly and served fast too. The servers were responsive and answered the questions we had. Again, the portions are humongous and the taste is delicious. The nachos were off the hook as well.
