the new location is amazing and i am so happy they got the opportunity to get a bigger spot. our server was very nice and the food came out in a timely manner. the decor and seating are beautiful. the food was amazing, as always! it’s true they had to up the prices after moving, but our total for two people was $49 and we both needed a box to take leftovers home. not to mention, we were given complimentary chicken soup and a salsa tasting. i don’t know if they were trying something new or what but it was a pleasant surprise that really made the experience extra special.

$5.00-$7.00 for street tacos!
I spent $77.00 for two people. Chicken fajitas, one elote, three barría tacos, and one taco de cabeza and two diet sodas. That did include a tip.
Service was great. The place is clean. The food was good. The pricing of the menu is outrageous. In fairness, I could’ve left after reviewing the menu, but I enjoy trying new places. The prices just aren’t there for what you’re get.
Overall, not going to be a repeat customer. They are a busy spot, and I wish them well. Get that bag as they say.

Don Taco in Tarpon Springs is a must-visit! The food is absolutely delicious—fresh, flavorful, and made with care. Every bite is packed with authentic Mexican flavors, and their tacos are some of the best around. The outdoor seating adds to the experience, creating a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere. Whether you’re stopping by for a quick bite or a casual meal with friends, the service is friendly, and the portions are generous. If you’re looking for amazing tacos and a great outdoor dining spot, Don Taco is the place to be!

Been coming to don taco for i think what’s been over 6 years now… and it never disappoints.
Today i tried out their new place and it is consistently great. I had my favorite lengua and asada tacos and the lengua is as tender and flavorful as always and imo is the best in tampa bay. Their asada is flavorful and everything they have there pairs best with the salsa verde which is handsdown the best i’ve had anywhere - creamy and slightly spicy, too good! You’re missing out on a big flavor profile without it.
My boyfriend always raves about their birria tacos and whenever he comes in from NY, this and the burrito is always at the top of his tampa bay eats list.
Oh and you can’t forget to get the horchata, and it comes in those large margarita glasses for dine-in. We will be back as always. Thankful our lovely ladies at the front treat you very well and with a smile too.

I drove 3 hours to come eat at this restaurant and it did not disappoint. The server first presented me fresh chips and a plank with different salsas. All delicious and fresh. I had the Molcajete Azteca, the Orchata drink and the Tres leches cake. So delicious and all had a great presentation. I ate so much and was so full, they had to roll me out to my car when I was done. I highly rate and recommend Don Taco for their food. The service was excellent and the atmosphere was festive.
