We had a great night at Double Bogey. Went to see the band, Noodles Magoo and ended up having dinner and staying for drinks. The servers were wonderful. Ruby, Sara and Rebecca were working hard to make sure everyone was having a great time. We'll definitely be back whenever there are bands we like!

Don't host large parties here. Lisa, the person in charge that day, sucks at running a restaurant, and was rude to us. My husband and I are residents of Heritage Harbor and have used Double Bogey's Tavern since they first opened in the club house, and we used that space even before then. My husband and I had our wedding & reception there, as did my step-daughter. Since Double Bogey's was established, we continued to have Father's Day, birthday parties, baby showers for our expected grandkids, and Christmas gatherings there for work parties, so we made reservations for 14 people to honor my husband's 60th birthday for today, Sept. 13th, at 2:00, a time we chose to ensure we didn't come when they are at their busiest. The former owners always accommodated our large party, putting 3-4 tables together towards the back of the restaurant. My husband spoke to the new owner the day before and he took our information and even spoke to an employee about our party size while my husband was still on the phone. When we arrived the next day, our table was not ready, and 3 small parties of 3-4 people occupied the tables that were in the back, where they typically would set our party up. With the exception of a few people at the bar, most other tables in the restaurant were empty. Lisa, the manager said that she would have to separate our party since other customers occupied the area that would have accommodated us. We did not want our family to be separated as we celebrated the 60th birthday of our family patriarch, so we suggested another arrangement orienting the tables available in a different direction. Lisa was quite snippy with us and stated that the tables would obstruct traffic from the kitchen door, even though we were suggesting an area several feet away from the door. My husband expressed his disappointment that our party was not being accommodated, even with reservations, and Lisa retorted that she needed to get back to her job and told us to figure it out ourselves. Our party alone doubled the number of customers in thier restaurant, and she only had given us 3 minutes of her time. Were WE not her job? She ran off to the kitchen and left us standing there. A party of 3 men offered to move to another table so that we could connect their table to the other tables in that row. We thanked them, bought them a pitcher of beer, and pushed a table between thier table and the others in the row. Lisa then came out from the kitchen and with a nasty tone, reprimanded us for moving a table, even though we were told to figure it out ourselves. She argued that the end table was sticking out too close to the path leading to the back door that leads to the pool. Only thing is, that table was still where it was before the men gave it up. We tried to point out that the end table aligned with the same end table on the row parrallel to ours, as she kept raising her voice over my husband's. She argued that the table in the parallel row shouldnt be there either, yet she wasn't moving that table. She offered no solutions and only shot down every suggestion we made, and was very rude about it. No apology was made for failing to accomodate us, so we paid for the beer we ordered for the men and left. We have always tried to keep our money in the Heritage Harbor community, but we are done with Double Bogey's. They easily lost $400 for food & alchohol plus tips, and all of our future buissiness.

Great sports bar and restaurant in the Heritage Harbor community. Open to the public. Spacious, great food and atmosphere. Frequently have live music. When I was there, there was also a Cornhole tournament going on. Lively crowd, fun place. I highly recommend.

Great experience! Food was better than expected and service was great. Prices are very reasonable!
We went on trivia night which was fun, but the music was a bit loud. I inquired if it was under new ownership as I had been there several years ago and it was mediocre at best. New ownership 3 years ago...that explains that explains the vast improvement and we will definitely return!!
