Tequila lovers, this one’s for you... maybe.
Stopped in for dinner and had very mixed feelings. The birria tacos? Absolute fire. Flavorful, juicy, crispy edges—everything I wanted and more. I’d come back for those alone.
Now the margarita... whew. That thing was basically straight tequila in a glass with a lime on the rim. If you enjoy the bold, burning aroma of paint thinner with a citrus twist, then this might be your dream drink. But for me, it was a hard pass after one sip.
Service was solid, food was good, drink nearly sent me to another dimension.
Would I go back? Yes—for the tacos. Would I order a margarita again? Not unless I’m trying to forget my entire weekend.

Popped in on a Friday at 9 & was seated immediately. Chips & salsa were good, the margaritas...delicious.
Ordered chicken taquitos & kept some salsa for dipping.
Price was reasonable, place was clean and the staff stayed on top of it.

Our server was horrible! She never checked on us after we got our food. I couldn't eat the food out was so bland and my cheese wasn't melted. Tasted like a mozzarella stick in a tortilla. There was a bug in my husband's drink. It says 20 Oz marg for 10.99 and it definitely wasn't 20 oz. We won't be back. The guy that brought us salsa and chips was very nice and that was the one good thing about that place.

We drove to El Cerrito in New Port Richey and it was worth the drive.
From the moment we walked in service was excellent and very friendly.
And tortilla chips were the perfect crispiness and texture, accompanied by yummy salsa which is true the true litmus test of any good Mexican restaurant. I'm glad they passed with flying colors.
They have a huge menu selection. For my entrée, I was was trying to decide between two shrimp dishes, and I love the one that our server recommended. Lots of good veggies and shrimp which made for perfect taco filling. And the tortillas came out warm and fresh.
My husband''s lunch was grilled pineapple fajitas, and we love that they served it inside the hollowed out pineapple. Very flavorful, and the chicken was perfectly cooked. In fact, the chicken was so good he wished there was more of it.
A good value as well so we will definitely stop in whenever we're in the area.
