Been to Irish bars up and down the east coast. This bar has a family feel with a great dive atmosphere without being a dive. The staff is amazing and can make anything you ask
For. The food is top notch. This will always be one of my weekly stops. A++++++

If you're looking for a cozy, welcoming spot to grab a bite and unwind with friends, Fitzgerald’s Irish Pub in New Port Richey is a hidden gem that never disappoints. It’s one of my favorite places to go when I want to relax, laugh, and enjoy good food with my friends. The atmosphere is delightfully quaint, with the kind of old-world Irish charm that instantly makes you feel at home.
The menu offers a surprisingly wide variety of choices, but hands down, my go-to favorite is the pot roast. It’s hearty, flavorful, and melts in your mouth—just like comfort food should. But fair warning: if you want to try it, get there early! It’s so popular that it sells out often, and for good reason. It’s THAT good.
Beyond the pot roast, there’s something for everyone—from classic pub fare to fresh salads and creative daily specials. Whether you're in the mood for a pint and some Irish nachos or a full meal, you’ll find something satisfying. The staff is friendly, the drinks are cold, and there’s always a welcoming vibe that makes you want to stay a little longer.
Highly recommend Fitzgerald’s for your next casual night out!

What a great find. We were staying at the Quality Inn next door to Fitzgerald's Irish Tavern. It may be attached to the same structure. It is just so Irish and local with the way it is presented inside and out. We hit it at the right time after the lunch rush and before the dinner rush. We were promptly seated and greeted by our server Noah. He is natural as a server and really helpful. The menu is full of selections and we settled on a local beer and their margarita to start off. We decided on the half rack "off the bone" Baby back ribs combo, mine with fried shrimp and their pasta salad and the other with chicken stickers (fried chicken fingers) and curly fries. Our meals came out quickly and were, as advertised. Sadly there was no room left for dessert.(Bummer) Noah checked on us just enough during our meal and we appreciate his personality and service. The bill was about $24.00 per person plus tip. If you happen to be in the Stuart area check it out.

A very tiny place inside with tables outside. Unfortunately we sat next to a table with 4 very loud people and could barely hear each other. The service was excellent and the food was good. The beers was overpriced. My wife’s Stella was $7 for a glass of draft. A brewery would charge less.

I ordered the fish and fries and was really disappointed. The fish was dry and overcooked, and the batter was way too crispy—almost hard. It didn’t have the light, flaky texture I was expecting. The fries were just average and didn’t make up for it. For the price, I expected a much better meal. Hopefully this was just an off day.
