He had great insights & suggestions & was friendky, personable & professional.
I started with the special keylime Martini.. which imo had more of a caramelized pear & cinnamon profile, but delicious nonetheless.
I ordered the summer special: lobster flatbread, which fell a bit 'flat' and unfavorable for me.. The mngr, Shane, came over to my table immediately and gave some insight as to the flavor profile I was tasting.. he promptly removed the item from my bill & asked if there was anything else he could bring me instead. I was ok waiting for my grouper tacos, which were fantastic! I got them grilled and asked for extra cilantro.. they were perfect!
For dessert, there was a special mango custard dessert.. it was just right ¬ too sweet; a nice finish to my meal.
(full disclosure; I brought the rest home to finish later, but the presentation was worth having it served at the table & then put in a box after a few bites!) 😀
I'm a self-proclaimed NY 'food snob' .. & I give Grillsmith & it's employees a strong 9. (I never give a 10; nothings perfect.. lol)
But this place exceeded my expectations.

Great atmosphere! Cool different types of seating. High tops, to booths to leather couches. Good vibe! Service was great! Food was delish! We shared the Pork Chop Marsala with the Green Bean special and Augratin Potatoes. We also ordered a Napa Salad and Pineapple Upside-down Cake for dessert! All delish! Highly recommend!

We had a great time tonight! Even on a busy Saturday, everything ran smooth. Jaz took care of us and was very kind, professional and took pride in her work area/ kept everything clean. We absolutely loved the salmon bruschetta, tuna appetizer and old fashion drinks.

You really feel like at GrillSmith they care about food and people. Great hospitality.
We had such a great experience at GrillSmith. From the moment we walked in, everything felt welcoming and well thought out.
The food was absolutely delicious. Everything we tried was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. You can really tell they care about quality and details.
Hailey server so hospital and was great experience great professional and we she knows about flavory and thickness and great professionals on cocktails (she can explain what refreshing or strong cocktails) all she recommended was GREAT AMD YUMMY
Justin Goble the manager was so friendly and welcoming.
The whole experience felt warm and genuine. It’s one of those places where you truly feel taken care of.
Definitely a place we’ll be coming back to.

A true gem in the Wesley Chapel and Land O Lakes area. Food was very tasty, atmosphere pleasant, reservations were quickly seated, and room to have 2 or more eat in many comfortable areas of the restaurant. The tacos, could be fried or grilled, and were filling more than you expect. The drinks are also top-shelf, not watered down. And the manager, Shaun, was pleasant and stopped by to talk about his love of the restaurant and seeing everyone enjoy their dinning experience. Connerton residents should stop by and enjoy!
