I have been going to this Hooters since it opened in 1988. It has changed a lot since then, but a lot has stayed the same.
I still love to go there to watch the boats go by, the dolphins and other sea live play in the water and just enjoy nature as I eat. Although, I do miss watching the waitresses, go out on the boat dock to take orders and serve the people on the boats. It was always such a unique thing. I've never saw another restaurant with boat parking in the middle of the seating area where you could be served and eat on your boat.
When I was a kid this Hooters was unquestionably a family restaurant. There was always kids running around everywhere whenever I went. There was games to be played in a giant tree in the middle of the restaurant, which is still there that they used to let us climb, but no more can you climb that tree.
The seating at the restaurant hasn't changed since it's beginning one small section inside that's always felt like a sports bar and then the outside section which is at least four times the size that's the area you want to sit. Take one of the big picnic tables along the water. I would always wait a little longer if had to get one of these tables. Sitting on more interior, although still outside and enjoyable, just doesn't have the same feel.
If you have to wait for a table, it's not a bad weight like other places there's a park next-door and I like to go wait in the park until it's time for my table to be ready. There's also some other interesting things like the boat docs in the fisheries to look at. I must say even on busy days waiting for a table has never been a draw. It's always been enjoyable because the atmosphere around the restaurant is just as nice as when you're in the seating area outside.
When this Hooters was first built, there was a giant fireplace in the middle. It must've been 6’ long x 4' wide. I remember in the winter time when it was cold all the Hooters girls and even the Hooters boys that moment in time when they had male servers, would huddle by the fireplace to get warm. However, they removed the fireplace in replaced it with a bar and I often wonder what the girls do when they're cold. How do they stay warm? It's something that always bothered me since they removed the fireplace. Also, I don't like the bar it makes it feel more like a sports bar than the family restaurant that at once was.
All in all, I recommend this Hooters if you want an unique dining experience with a wonderful natural environment, where you cannot only get good food, but feel it one with nature.

I decided to throw my boyfriends 80s themed 40th birthday party here at hooters and LET ME TELL YOU, we had the best time, from the moment the hostess answered the phone, to the manager I spoke with to book the space, to our wonderful waitress Athena (I believe) was just a breeze. It is such a beautiful spot on the water, the food was hot and delicious and our waitress made sure no one had an empty drink! Book your next event with hooters they are the best! 🎉

Was invited by Hooters, so we stopped for lunch 😋 our waitress Elena was very nice
The service was awesome, and the atmosphere was really nice, we had grilled cheese sandwiches with fries and coleslaw, but I got to say the coleslaw was awesome. We enjoyed our lunch we will come back

Came here awhile back with some co workers had a good time for lunch. The ladies were very nice an attentive. An of course oh so pretty. The food was good had the starter of mozzarella sticks. Nothing too much to write about them they were good. The sauce kinda tasted like a cheap pasta sauce. But eh it's bar food. The burger was very good an tasty. It was the Swiss burger, better then this other bars Swiss burger I've had. So besides the food an staff the restaurant was maintained an atmosphere was nice on the water deck. I will be coming back.

I’ve been going to this hooters for a long time and it’s been hit and miss through the years but it seems to be getting much better. I usually go for the view and the wonderful bartenders. This past Sunday we had the grouper sandwich, boneless wings with tots, and the kids boneless with fries. The food was good and service was excellent. What sets this hooters apart from the rest is the view!!! Can’t beat this hooters location in my opinion.
