We were craving Greek food and this was some of the best I've had! I ordered the pork grub and it was packed with delicious chunks of pork hands down The best gyro I've ever had. Katina was our server and makes their Sangria which was also some of the best I've tasted. Pet friendly patio is always a plus as we love to bring our pup along with us. We will absolutely be back when we're in the area!

The food was DELICIOUS! All staff was professional and super pleasant! The Calamari was very fresh and tasted great! Potato salad was sooo good! All in all it was a wonderful experience. If ever in the area again, will definitely return!

We recently visited Katerina’s Taverna and Grill. After reading reviews, we decided to choose this establishment.
The interior is quite nice, with seating both inside and outside the cafe. The cafe is located by the road. There are parking spaces available.
The restroom was clean and odor-free.
The service was so-so. They forgot about us several times. The dishes came with salads, which were brought out half an hour after we ordered. Although there were other customers who arrived after us and received their food much faster.
The food was the most disappointing experience of Greek cuisine. I had the stewed eggplant, which was super salty, and the proportion of eggplant to potatoes in the dish was extremely small. The gyro on a plate was also disappointing. It consisted of dry chicken, 3 slices of tomato, onion, sauce, and pita bread. We expected more vegetables. The salad that came with it had one piece of tomato, one olive, one slice of cucumber, and the rest was just leaves. They completely forgot about the vegetables I ordered. We told the waiter about the eggplant, and they replied that they would inform the chef, and that was it. I cannot recommend this place.

The inside looks like a carryout, brightly lit but you can watch and smell your food cooking. it’s warmer in the winter too. If a restaurant has dirty bathrooms I don’t come back because staff use them too. if you catch my drift. The restroom is spotless. We always wind up there because the food is great and you don’t wait for an hour like at the places tourists frequent. Their grilled octopus is the best!
They have limited bakery items but if you are pressed go to Hellas the bakery is separate and their stuff is sold in restaurants all over the nature coast. Our dinner was expensive because we got a large Greek, an appetizer, extra sides and two entrees. Took all the leftovers home, added chicken peas and little rice pastas and had that for our next two meals. The flavor was even better the next day.

The best Greek food outside of Greece and quite frankly better than some I have been to in Greece. Everything was authentic and delicious. The grilled octopus was the best I've ever had. The greek salad and mousaka were outstanding. 11 put of 10!
