Stop by and walk away happy. I loved the Ribeye Steak & Provolone and my kids had the Cuban both pressed and both perfect. They also put together a last minute 6 foot sub for our Cub Scout Pack Pinewood Derby lunch with no advanced warning.

This is a hidden gem. If you’re craving for a DELICIOUS sandwich, this is the place to come! The bread is super crunchy but soft inside. They stack the meats up in a Cuban sandwich and the sauces blends so well with the Cuban. The ribeye steak and provolone cheese is delicious. The steak is perfectly cooked and tasted good with the cheese. They have a lot drinks, snacks, and take out salad, pasta, etc. for you to grab and go. The service is friendly and I love the outdoors sitting.

Place has gone DRASTICALLY downhill since the new owner took over. If you like HAM SANDWICHES you are somewhat in luck. We ordered Cubans and an Italian and they were almost identical…both loaded with cheap ham with scant traces of roast pork or salami respectively. VERY BLAND. Just not like it used to be years ago.
The service is horrible too. The kids in there are trying their best but they are set up to fail. We placed a to go order, showed up at the scheduled time, and then waited 40 MORE MINUTES past that to get our sandwiches. Ridiculous.
No apologies or even a “hey, we can knock off a few bucks off your large order”. Nothing. Just here’s your mediocre sandwich.
We’ve given them a few tries but it’s not worth it anymore. We’ll just get a Publix sub or drive a little further to The Mustard Seed Deli. Their sandwiches are amazing and the place is actually run like a restaurant.

Man. Let me tell you... this is the place to go to, and I'm pretty sure most everyone in middle Florida already knows! They have real, authentic food!!!! Love this place. They also have a small store. Oh, and the owner owns the restaurant next door. I heard it is amazing also and by the water. The owner was going to make this Cuban stop an extension for the parking lot next door at the restaurant. When he found out it was a huge deal in the community and been there forever, he didn't dare tear it down. Why? Cause he cares more about the community and serving them. He kept the staff on and kept them employed there. Stand up guy!

What's up with this new ownership. For many years I get the Yankee Cuban all the time and they were fantastic. My Yankee Cuban today was pretty much just a ham sandwich with little to no turkey. This is very disappointing since this used to be my favorite sub shop. Seeing the reviews now it looks like I'm not alone. I might give them ONE more chance however the new owner should fix this quick or I won't be coming back and put Larry's in my past.
