This was our first time here and we'll definitely be back over and over! We moved here from Texas in 2022 and have really missed the Tex-Mex food. We finally found it near us in Florida! đ The people are really nice too which makes the meal more enjoyable. The salsa they serve with the chips has a little heat, a perfect amount in my opinion. We tried the cheese chili relleno, beef enchilada, crispy beef taco, rice and beans. Everything was yummy đ

The food was not bad but service really sucked. The server who took our order did not bring any appetizers. Another server had to bring them. Then our server eventually brought the food but without utensils. I asked him for utensils he said ok.. waited for like 5 minutes no utensils, food is getting cold. I had to go back to the bar area and get utensils myself. He also did not bring us tortilla with our fajita we had to ask another server to do that. $0 tip was 100% deserved đ

Our experience at Los Magueyes was mixed but not terrible. The food overall was okay decent quality, but not especially authentic compared to other Mexican restaurants weâve tried. Nothing was bad, just not particularly memorable.
One standout was the salsa. It was very good and tasted fresh and homemade, which we appreciated and enjoyed quite a bit.
Service, however, was on the slower side, even though the restaurant didnât appear overly busy at the time. It wasnât awful, just noticeably slower than expected.
The biggest letdown was the margarita situation. The menu listed two margaritas one labeled âregularâ and another with no description at all. When we asked for clarification, specifically looking for a skinny margarita that wasnât premixed, the response felt evasive and unclear. It seemed like they became uncomfortable once we asked detailed questions, which raised concerns. Because of the uncertainty and lack of transparency, we chose not to order one. It had a bit of a bait-and-switch feel, and honestly, a clearly labeled skinny margarita option should just be on the menu.
That said, the food itself was good enough that we would consider giving Los Magueyes another try, hopefully with improved service and clearer drink options next time.
Overall: decent food, great salsa, slow service, and a missed opportunity on drink transparency.

Delicious nachos supreme and great portion size for $12! We had one beer, nachos, and cheese dip for a little over $20. Definitely a great value, good service, and food.

Fast service, good Mexican food a clean restaurant with some Mexican ambience. Note the very eclectic stone wall made with discard from other jobs. Large portions attracting served.
