We have been to Mr. Souvlaki before and thought the food might have been better.
The food is still good though.
That said the chow mein was a little dry and the chicken was over seasoned, too salty.
So, good location, good price point, good service, and pretty good food.
Beware if you are looking for a sign off the road, the last hurricane must have blown it out.
This should be prioritized as the restaurant is off a busy street, and we and our guests both drove by the restaurant as we were looking for the sign.
I love the large windows and how bright the restaurant room is.
Our waitress was a real sweetheart.
The iced tea was fresh brewed and excellent, and the refills kept coming.
So still a good spot to frequent.

So bright and clean atmosphere! Love the grilled octopus so tender, my son loves it and he is only 7 years old! But the lamb giros to die for!! The server gift us a bit of a fresh desert made of rice, wow excellent service for sure. We were more than please and recommend to not missed it when you around town!!

I went to eat there alone and ordered a Salad. My dad used to love this place so I decided to eat there. The server was totally upset that I took a table alone and she made me feel totally uncomfortable because she definitely wanted a bigger table of people. The salad was ok at best however I couldn’t even enjoy it because a guy sitting with a group of locals at the table next to me would not stop coughing. I paid the check at the register and gave the server her tip she didn’t say thank you and gave me a dirty look and I left. I will never go back there ever again!! Take care!! You lost a customer forever!! And I gave her a really good tip!! Just terrible!!!

As a lifelong Greek food fan, I’m picky. And I tend to judge Greek restaurants by the one dish I love most: Dolmades. Mr. Souvlaki’s are, I think, the second best I’ve had in the area. We’ll be back.

This is as close as you will get to authentic Greek food in Tarpon
Grilled octopus is extremely tender
Fresh Shrimp
Fresh baked Greek bread.
Amazing traditional Greek salad.
And a must have… the saganaki (flaming Greek cheese)
