The daughter and I met up here for lunch after shopping and the restaurant was clean, friendly, and variety!!! The salad fresh. After eating at another pizzeria I almost didn't look at salad the same. NY NY Pizza restored my faith!!! The Calzone was amazing filled with 🧀. This is truly REAL New York style pizza and pasta!!!💖💪🏾❤️ with that family feel👌🏾

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ | New York New York Pizza – Wesley Chapel, FL. Looking forward to visiting again, soon.
I had the chance to visit New York New York Pizza on Bruce B Downs, and from the moment we walked in, I felt something different about this place — in a good way. The first thing that stood out to me was how welcoming and down-to-earth the team is. You can tell right away that they take pride in what they do. It’s the kind of environment where you feel like you’re walking into a neighborhood spot that genuinely appreciates its customers.
The second thing that jumped out was the seasonal and holiday décor. Most pizza places don’t go the extra mile to create an atmosphere — but here, they do. It feels fun, personal, and full of personality. It gave the restaurant a warm, inviting energy that made the whole experience feel a little more special.
We decided to try a variety of slices — buffalo, BBQ chicken, margherita, and supreme — to get a good sense of their range. Every single one was flavorful, fresh, and well-made. The buffalo slice really surprised me in the best way. It had the perfect balance of tangy, savory, and creamy — easily my favorite of the night. My wife loved the supreme, and I have to agree it was loaded just right without feeling heavy. The BBQ and margherita slices weren’t far behind — full of flavor and made with care.
And here’s the part some people might react to with a “no way!” — but honestly, I was impressed enough to say it: the flavor quality reminded me a bit of Eddie & Sam’s, which is a huge compliment. Anyone in the Tampa area knows Eddie & Sam’s sets the bar pretty high for New York–style slices. So for this spot in Wesley Chapel to even hit a similar note means they’re doing something right.
Between the friendly atmosphere, the effort they put into their presentation, and the quality of the food, this place gave me a genuinely great vibe. It’s the kind of restaurant you want to come back to — not just because the pizza is good, but because the experience feels good.
If you’re in the Wesley Chapel area (or even if you’re not), I definitely recommend giving New York New York Pizza a try. I’m glad we stopped in, and I truly hope you enjoy it as much as we did.

I’ve been a loyal customer of NYNY Pizza for over 10 years, starting at the Carrollwood location and continuing after moving to Wesley Chapel. Before 2020, my wife used to eat at the Carrollwood location 2–3 times a week with her coworkers, and she would often interact with the owner, who was there working most of the time. For most of that time, the food and service have been great, which is why we’ve stayed consistent with them.
Recently, there have been a few order mistakes, but I’ve always appreciated that the team has worked to make things right when that happens.
The last order was especially frustrating. I ordered a pineapple bacon pizza and received a pineapple pepper pizza instead. I was asked to drive back through heavy traffic to exchange it, which defeated the whole purpose of ordering takeout. When I spoke to the manager the next day, he acknowledged the inconvenience and offered me a credit for a pizza, which I appreciated.
Tonight, when I called to place an order and use that credit, the employee I spoke with was rude and told me there was no credit on file. She also made a comment suggesting that “there’s always an issue” when I order, which I found both inaccurate and disrespectful. I’ve been patient with their mistakes, but being spoken to like that as a long-time customer was disappointing.
I’ve supported this business for years and have always handled issues respectfully. Unfortunately, this experience has made me reconsider ordering from here again.

I’m from NJ and I’ve been here in Wesley Chapel FL for the past 1 and a half, and I have to say that this is the best tasting pizza I’ve had here in Florida. No other place in this area has this delicious NY flavor pizza, but here NY NY PIZZA. I highly recommend this place. If you are in the Wesley Chapel area in Tampa, then this place is a must.
