I don't hand out 5-star reviews very often, but Pizza Suprema absolutely earned this one.
I work in healthcare, and one of my patients is originally from Queens, New York. We were talking about all the foods New Yorkers miss when they move to Florida—great pizza, authentic Chinese food, dirty-water hot dogs, and potato knishes. He told me, "If you want real New York pizza, go to Pizza Suprema. You won't regret it." He also shared that the owners have deep Italian roots and a family history of making pizza that goes back to Brooklyn.
My wife and I happened to be nearby on our way to the bank, so when we noticed Pizza Suprema, we decided it was the perfect opportunity to give it a try. She waited in the car while I went inside to order. From the outside, the place has that authentic neighborhood New York pizza shop look—nothing flashy or overdesigned. In fact, the slightly weathered lettering on the windows reminded me of the small pizza shops you'd find on the streets of Brooklyn. It doesn't try to impress you with fancy décor—it lets the food do the talking. The moment I walked inside, I knew I was in a real pizza shop, not one of the conveyor-belt chain restaurants.
I ordered a Meat Lovers slice, my wife had the Supreme slice, and I couldn't pass up the garlic knots because I honestly can't remember the last time I had a good order of garlic knots.
Everything was outstanding.
The pizza had the perfect balance of crust, cheese, toppings, and flavor. The garlic knots were exactly what I'd hoped for—soft, fresh, loaded with garlic, and absolutely dripping with buttery goodness. Every bite was packed with flavor. But what really stood out was the sauce. Anyone who truly appreciates pizza knows it's all about the sauce, and Pizza Suprema absolutely nailed it. Rich, authentic, perfectly seasoned, and tasting like it had been made with pride, it complemented everything on the menu. I found myself dipping the garlic knots into the extra pizza sauce because it was simply too good not to.
After I brought the food out to the car, my wife and I started eating... and we ate so fast because it was that good. By the time I remembered to take pictures for this review, most of the food was already gone! The photos I posted only give you a small glimpse of what we ordered.
I originally considered giving 4.5 stars simply because I only sampled a few items and didn't feel I had tried enough of the menu to judge everything they offer. But after thinking about the quality, authenticity, and overall experience, there was really no reason not to give them the full 5 stars.
If you're looking for authentic New York-style pizza in the Tampa/Lutz area, I highly recommend Pizza Suprema. Great food, authentic flavor, friendly service, a genuine neighborhood pizza shop atmosphere, and plenty of parking. We'll definitely be back to work our way through the rest of the menu.

This place does not need one more review, as it has raving reviews already. But, I felt compelled to do one just because I have never tried a pizza like the one they are promoting this week. The scoop is, they are trying new things, and I am game for trying things, but a pizza with egg and avocado seems a little rad. I was a little skeptical simply because it is not your traditional pizza. Still, I decided to try it and…wow. WTH? Never I would have thought 8’d be so tasty! And…oh the crust! Ladies (and everyone who loves clean, delicious food), don’t skip this slice. Grab it while you can—I don’t think it’s on the menu very often. 🙏

We recently ordered from Pizza Suprema and had an absolutely fantastic experience from start to finish. Placing the order was super easy the staff was friendly, professional, and very accommodating with our requests. It felt like they truly valued our business and wanted to make the process smooth and enjoyable.
Delivery was outstanding as well. Our driver arrived promptly, much faster than we expected, and greeted us with a smile. Everything came hot and perfectly packaged, which we really appreciated.
Now let’s talk about the main event the pizza! We ordered a pepperoni pizza and it was excellent. The crust had that perfect balance of crisp on the outside and soft on the inside. The pepperoni was flavorful and generously layered, and the cheese melted beautifully across every slice. You could really tell everything was fresh, from the ingredients to the overall preparation. Every bite was delicious!
Overall, Pizza Suprema definitely lives up to its name. Great service, fast delivery, and top-quality pizza what more can you ask for? We will absolutely be ordering again and recommending them to everyone we know!

Best flavored pizza crust in town. We’ve been coming here for years and the owners are always there working hard but smiling and so friendly. Small business but they are always busy!

Every pizza i have gotten here is amazin! Everyone working is friendly and happy to help in any way. Feels like a ny pizza shop with a family who really cares about customers. Threw and extra tip for the shop and they threw in extra garlic knots. Good pizza and good people!
