We wanted to have bowls for lunch, so we decided on Pollo Tropical. From the menu, we got the Classic Chicken Tropichop, Mac n Cheese, and Mashed Potatoes with Gravy.
Our order arrived in 5 minutes! First up, we tried the Tropichop bowl. It was alright, but something was missing. That's what made it a bit disappointing for us.
The mac and cheese and mashed potatoes with gravy were okay. Our lunch at Pollo Tropical was also okay.

Ordered the catering for 10. Let me say that the food was outstanding and the service was as well. Not only did they include all utensils needed to serve the food, it even came in a very nice reusable bag.
The quality of the food was incredible. The quantity was even better. There is enough for 15 or more to eat and still have leftovers.
Simply the best...and fresh!

So this is the 3rd time in the last 2 months that i go get my 1/2 chicken Dark with white rice & black beans it was approximately 1pm & every time ive gone there early in the day my chicken is old from the day before ( they took it out of a plastic container), I can tell the difference & the beans taste like nothing it was water! I go to Pollo tropical once or twice a week & when i get fresh chicken off the grill the chicken tastes amazing & very juicy! I dont know who is making the beans but lately i have to come home & season them they are very bland & watery

Me and my wife came by last night. We ordered a tropical trio and a tropichop. The lobby was really busy, the cashiers greeted us in. We paid and sat down at our table. We waited 20mins for our order and my wife was getting upset so I asked to speak to the manager. I believe I spoke with a Blake or Brian, he apologized for the wait and explained he had multiple online orders with steak, and that’s what they were waiting on. (There were 5-6 Ubers inside). He asked if there was anything he could substitute it for so we didn’t have to wait. But I wanted my steak so I told him it was ok and that I’d prefer to wait.
We watched the manager pull our steak fresh from the grill, he was working the line, drive thru, and front counter. When we got our order he saw my wife was still upset so he gave her a flan on the house and apologized again. Although we had to wait a little longer than normal, the manager did everything correctly last night, a personal suggestion is maybe order online for pickup prior to arriving on Fridays as it seems they might have been understaffed. Overall though it was a great experience!
