Tuesday nights at Rum River are a vibe! Karaoke with Cherokee Allyse was a total blast — great energy, great music, and even better company. Don’t skip the Rum Runner, Crab Fries, or Coconut Shrimp — all absolutely delicious! The cherry on top? Watching the sunset over the water. It was the perfect midweek escape. Can’t wait to come back

I don't know what happened to this place but the food is not anything like it used to be. Today I got shrimp tacos. There were 2 tacos. Which was a tortilla and 6 pieces of medium size shrimp on each. That's it! The photo is what the tacos USED to look like. I wish I would have thought to take a picture today. The side was beans and rice, it looked like prison slop. I didn't even touch it.
Appetizers were ok. The menu definitely shrunk. Totally disappointed. Especially because we brought family from out of state. Service was good. I used to go all the time and loved it. Definitely not going back.

Stopped here for lunch. Dog friendly, but there are cats on the premises which didn’t bother our dogs but…? Lunch was good. Mahi BLT was delicious. Burger was cooked to order. Nice views of the Cottee River.

This was our first visit, but our daughter and son-in-law have been there often. The food was delicious! I am not a fish lover, so asked if I could get beef tacos instead of the seafood tacos that were on the menu. No problem. They were seasoned differently than any I have ever had, and I really enjoyed them. The others had various seafood dishes, all of which they raved over. Having sangria was a plus for us, in addition to the Caribbean Bucket. Our server was friendly and helpful. All in all it was a great meal.

Food is pretty good, at least what I've had and not too overpriced, except for some things. For instance it's $18 for a burger with chips. Fries are $5 extra. Outrageous. Plenty of places in town have a 1/2lb burger with fries for $10-12.
We pretty much only come here for happy hour drinks and an appetizer.
