I was really disappointed with the Hot Honey Chicken soft tacos at Tijuana Flats. I paid extra to try the new hot honey chicken, expecting something flavorful and well-portioned, but there was hardly any chicken on my tacos at all. Most of what I got was cheese and lettuce. I had to actually search for pieces of chicken in the taco. Or was also COLD…not even a bit warm.
The hot honey chicken might be good — if you actually get any in your taco. For paying extra, the portion was unacceptable. This ended up being one of the worst meals I’ve had in a long time. Definitely not worth the upcharge.
UPDATE:
Thought we would try taco Tuesday again this week. Tried the beef taco. WHERE’S THE BEEF?! There was hardly any beef in the taco. Is this Tijuana Flats under new management? They used to have great tacos, but after two weeks in a row of mostly lettuce and cheese, we won’t be coming back to this place.

The last remaining EXCELLENT Tijuana Flats around. We live closer to 2 other locations but come here because the food and service is always excellent! Tables are always clean, food hot and without "extras" that you didn't order mixed in. Staff is always super friendly.

I’m 8 weeks pregnant with my third kid and everything makes me sick. Literally even the thought of touching a spaghetti noodle sends me in a nauseous rage. My friend posted a photo of her at tijuana flats and it’s like it jumped off of my phone. I ordered tacos so fast that it’s crazy my phone didn’t catch fire. I almost cried when it arrived. Absolutely no notes. God has blessed me today. Everything was perfect. My only sadness is that I should’ve ordered more. No this review is not a joke. If you’ve ever been pregnant, you know.

This place completely forgot about us and didn't provide any of the food I bought.
We came in as a group of 2 while it wasn't busy. We ordered and after 50 minutes they hadn't even brought out the chips. Saw several larger groups come in after us and get their full orders. They had the decency to give a refund and the least authentic "sorry" I've ever heard but I'll never be coming back here.

The service here is always impeccable. I came in for lunch yesterday with my two kids and my grandfather. We were greeted with a warm smile. The cashier took very good care of us and ensured my kids were set up for lunch. Very kind like usual and great food. Thank you!
