The good old red barn on State Road 54. I’ve been a customer of Vallarta’s for years. it was one of the first places I have ever had Chihuahua cheese and to be honest, they have me hooked. I’m also a huge fan of the salsa and it’s one of the places that still provide you endless chips, pleasantly surprised that the service was some of the best we’ve ever experienced with this Location and the atmosphere is always eclectic and inviting. The menu is vast with all the Mexican favorites and a few specialty items. Always a challenge to figure out what it is that you want always end up something with delicious.

The waitstaff was excellent.
I had a combination dinner and could only eat half of it as the portion was quite generous.
My only complaint is that when the place is full, it's a bit noisy.

A little confusing as to where you enter the building. We drove around to where the lady was writing on the big sign and walked in there....it seemed to be the correct door, but as we sat there, we realized people were walking in both doors. 😆 Took a minute for them to decide who was going to serve us. I'm not sure if something was happening in the back, but they all seemed to be quite confused or preoccupied. But! I loved the salsa!! It had such great flavor!! The chips were a little overdone (probably from the night before because there were a lot of crumbs). We ordered, and our food came out pretty quick! Our food was all correct (my husband is a bit picky), and it had excellent flavor as well! We will absolutely go back! The service wasn't terrible, but a little awkward? I was told by a friend to try the fried ice cream, but couldn't that day from being absolutely STUFFED! So, it is DEFINITELY worth it!!

Great jalapeño margarita. They also have green sauce for the enchiladas. The chips and salsa are on point and house made. Friday night and busy but not overwhelmed as it is not in the big city. Absolutely worth visiting for Mexican-American food better than chain restaurants.

The food was great, and the atmosphere was typical of a Mexican restaurant. The service was awful. The server never greeted us. Instead, he came to the table and asked, "Know what you want to drink?". That was pretty much the most pleasantries we received from this individual.
Other than that, the food was good. Won't mind if I never go back though.
