If I could give more stars for service I would. I've helped train and open lord knows how many restaurants, and our server Briana is easily one of the best servers I've had in any type of setting. Fine dining to casual, she was on top of it during a busy holiday rush. Very impressive.
Food is as good as you expect from a Village Inn, but always good and consistent.
10/10 experience and 20/10 service.

Restaurant was a bit dated but nostalgic. Food was very good comfort type. Homemade pies are awesome. They changed an 18% service on the check which does not appear on the check given at the table. The 18% charge only appeared while the cashier was ringing up the check. A nice tip was left on the table AND the 18% service charge was added to the check. The 18% service charge SHOULD BE DECLOSED!!!

If a restaurant is going to automatically charge you 18% gratuity, they should at least make sure they have more than one server and that they’re not rude. I had an empty drink my entire meal and it took over 15 minutes to flag down someone for the bill. The host took care of our table more than our actual waitress did and ended up bringing our boxes and to go drinks. I told him I wanted our tip to go to him instead of our waitress. When she overheard that, she became super defensive, started arguing with me, ripped my card out of my hand and dropped it on the table when she was done. The food is good, but not good enough to deal with the attitude and horrible service.

Today November 25, 2025 I went to the Village Inn Restaurant in Land O Lakes Tampa for breakfast with a new friend. We had a good time talking there and the breakfast was really good too! The waiter was very nice and the restaurant was very clean. I would go there again! ☺️
